An outing to Agafay changes the scenery of your stay. After Marrakech’s gardens and monuments, open landscapes offer a different setting for an afternoon or evening. Keep it simple with private transport, time to enjoy the surroundings and an arranged return.
What landscape should you expect?
Visit Marrakech places Agafay about 40 kilometres from the city and describes a landscape of stones and hills. These are rocky surroundings rather than the Sahara’s large sand dunes. The outing is about open views and time away from the city.
Our suggestion for an afternoon and evening outing
Leave from your accommodation and spend time in Agafay before sunset. Then choose between returning to Marrakech and having dinner at a venue you’ve booked. Arranging the return from the start leaves the evening free for enjoying the experience.
Sunset changes with the season, so share your travel date when planning the outing. Bring water, sun protection and an extra layer if you’ll stay after dark. For family travel, tell us the children’s ages and seat requirements.
Dinner and activities: choose your experience
If you want to dine in Agafay, choose a venue and check its booking conditions. Send us the arrival time and access point afterwards. For an activity, check what it involves, its duration and the provider’s conditions before adding it to your evening.
A scenery-focused outing and one with several activities need different timings. Start with the experience you most want and add what complements it. Dinner and activities are separate from transport unless your quote expressly includes them.
Choose the vehicle and arrange the return
Vehicle choice depends on your group, luggage and access to the selected venue. Our team advises based on your exact destination. Send your accommodation address, date, passenger numbers and preferred return time for a quote for private return transport.
